Why RYFT Athletics Is Different

RYFT Athletics was built to bring serious, event-specific track and field coaching to Englewood and the Denver metro — without losing the humanity, culture, and support athletes need to thrive.

This is where performance meets belonging, and where athletes develop for years, not just seasons.

Why the name RYFT?

RYFT redefines what a rift means—not as a divide, but as a moment of transformation. It’s where the break becomes the breakthrough. It’s that split-second when you push past limits, pull away from the competition, and leave complacency and old habits behind. That’s RYFT.

In track and field, separation is everything. It’s the difference between being good—and being undeniable.

At RYFT Track Club, we don’t wait for that separation. We engineer it.

Among our athletes, RYFT also means:

Run Your Fastest Time.

Mission

RYFT exists to help track and field athletes train with more clarity, better coaching, and a stronger sense of belonging.

We believe athletes deserve event-specific coaching, clear development, honest communication, and a training environment that supports both performance and personal growth.

Vision

Our vision is to help transform the track and field experience in the Denver metro by building a club where performance, community, long-term development, and lifelong athleticism intersect.

Our Story

RYFT began with a simple belief: track and field athletes deserve better access to serious coaching, no matter their age, event, or starting point.

What started with private coaching and small training groups grew into a broader track and field program serving youth, high school, college, masters, elite, and adaptive athletes across the Denver metro.

It was truly a passion project that began during COVID when our head coach felt it was necessary to help young athletes in a time when they were rarely given a chance to even get outside.

RYFT has continued to grow by adding coaches, expanding event support, building clearer training paths, and creating a club environment where athletes can improve without feeling lost in a one-size-fits-all system. One built on respect, dedication, camaraderie, and ambition.

What RYFT Offers

RYFT supports athletes through:

  • Private coaching

  • Track club training

  • Event-specific training

  • Strength and weight room support

  • Competition prep and meet strategy

  • College recruiting guidance

  • Youth, high school, masters, and adaptive athlete pathways

What We Believe

Event-specific coaching matters.
Track and field is not one sport with one workout. Sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, throwers, vaulters, and distance runners need different coaching.

Long-term development beats quick fixes.
Athletes improve through better habits, better progressions, and consistent training over time.

Athletes are people first.
Performance matters, but so do confidence, communication, health, and belonging.

Standards and support can coexist.
RYFT is built for athletes who want to improve, but improvement should happen in an environment that is serious, respectful, and human.
